Mazda Introduces Outside Director System

Mazda Motor Corp. announced corporate organization changes and a new line-up of directors and corporate auditors propose to take effect following the general meeting of shareholders scheduled for June  24, 2011.

The company has decided to restructure its management system in an effort to further enhance corporate governance and transparency of the management.   At the 145^th general meeting of a shareholder, it will propose the introduction of an outside director system and appointment of two outside directors.
